European Programmes
CEA-PME makes sure that chances are fairly distributed regarding the allocation of EU-financed projects and programmes. Hence, we support stakeholders with providing tailor-made information on EU-financed projects and programmes and with drafting the proposals and supervising the projects.
Support for businesses that expand abroad
CEA-PME sees itself as a door-opener for markets across the European Union. Our support ranges from formal assistance to specific business areas, such as for instance sales or construction. According to the motto "business is local" we aim at identifying salient business opportunities and at providing them to members at the lowest possible cost.
Lobbying on behalf of SMEs
CEA-PME represents the interests of small and medium-sized businesses toward policy makers and public authorities. Thus, CEA-PME calls for cutting red tape in favour of SMEs (e.g. in the field of taxation, burdensome statistical requirements or environmental regulations). In addition we fight against competitive disadvantages towards big businesses and advocate simplified provisions for cross-border services unhampered by national obstructions (such as double registration with institutions in different member states concerning the same profession or the mutual recognition of vocative diplomas).
